Every review of theirs was excellent and it seemed they were too good to be true-but they are true. I called and spoke to Jason from an out of way lodge near Gobabis. I had been told by the lodge it was impossible to trust in transport from there as we had been dropped off by my sister who was driving onto Walvis Bay. I had called around and got astronomical quotes. Finally I called Windhoek City Cab and received a reasonable quote; half the price of the others. The cab arrived exactly at time requested in a nice car with a polite driver. So impressive. I give them a high five recommendation. This is a very well-managed company! I contacted Windhoek Citycab via email for a transfer from Walvis Bay airport to Sossuvlei and then 4 days later back from Sossusvlei to Windhoek airport. The contact via email with Jason was efficient and very fast, Vilho, our driver showed up nicely on time and drove us all the way to Sossusvlei. It's a 6 hour journey, most of the time on gravel roads and I was happy we had such an experienced and professional driver like Vilho, his English was perfect, he is really friendly and so professional, super safe driver and very clean and almost new Toyota Fortuner. Return journey exactly the same: Vilho was even earlier than planned, safe and efficient journey. As a European with limited driving experience on gravel roads, I highly recommend this company for longer transfers in Namibia!
I will highly recommend them especially if you don't intend to drive or not familiar with left side driving. We used them for tours and our private taxi service. Their price is the best value and cheap for taxi service. Unfortunately had a flat tire on our way back from the safari farm but they pick us up right away. Drivers were all cordial and friendly especially Reggie and Daniel. R+ to them.
